Spike's Arena
Here's a good example of the new background style I'm trying to make. It's 'crystallised' and unfocused, which helps keep attention on the foreground while being nice and attractive at the same time.
See, that Graphics GCSE course did come in handy, after all!
Also the arena is an exact replica of that from Spyro 3. Look it up!
I'm also contemplating a Kickstarter so I can buy some programs I need to make this game complete.
Update; removed the platforms floating in the air.
The music is 'Cognitive Dissonance' by Kevin MacLeod. Thank god for royalty free music.

Game with a name!
Yep!
And if I ever choose to make a sequel, I can call it 'Adventure Man 2'!
Thanks to Dale for the name!

Stage 2 - The City
The city is the world you face after beating the first boss. It's where many people live, but many of [unnamed hero]'s friends choose to live in the secluded areas of the world.
Stage 2 - The City

Side Bosses
Not particularly important characters, so I'll reveal the Four Bikers Of The Apocalypse.
I'll make some future animations of them, but these guys are fought before Dave, their leader.
Conquest - White Biker - Wields bow and arrow
War - Red Biker - Wields a sword
Famine - Black Biker - Wields a rocket launcher (couldn't think of anything modern for famine)
Death - Pale Biker - Wields what is supposed to be an AK47
They all ride Kawasakis by the way.

I dun good, mum!
I'm making a breakthrough with the first boss.
It was a bit hard to concentrate on with other affairs but I'm getting there now.
Production should be more steady now I've organised how to beat bosses.

Breakthrough
A genius idea of how to beat the living shite out of bosses - button mashing!
Once you avoid all the obstacles the boss throws at you and get into contact with a boss it will cut to a button mashing segment - click the area on the boss the game demans you to hit. thankfully you won't be able to fail, unless I work a way around that.
Also, I'm working on animations for a boss, and the Mines are work in progress.

Stage 1 - The cliffs
The cliffs are the first stage of <unnamed Game>. They are where <unnamed hero> and his friend Jeff the Miner live.
Jeff mines most of his time, and when he doesn't, he's probably on his PS3, so, when <unnamed hero> finds his house empty, he presumes Jeff is on one of his mining ventures.
There are 3 areas of the Cliffs. Each area contains 10 rooms.
Area 1 - Sunny Cliffs - helps you get to grips with controls, and isn't too mean on you.
Area 2 - Rainy Cliffs - similar to area 1, but its jumps become a little more hazardous.
Area 3 - The Mines - this area introduces spike traps and signs that warn of hazards.
Boss 1 - I'm at a loss for a boss of this stage. Maybe I won't include one. But we may see Dave in this stage at some point.

Welcome!
Hello, and welcome!
I am the creator of 'This Game' and I just want to say; it's currently unnamed.
Anyway, it involves a character who bears a striking resemblance to myself. And a evil Knight called Dave or something.
Also there are many NPCs I've picked up along the way.
And did I mention there's a stupid amount of levels? Maybe about 400?
Anyway, suggestions are welcome.
